Christmas at House

We love Christmas at House!
This season is all about hope, peace, joy, and generosity. Jesus gave His life for us, and every time we give, we’re reminded of the incredible act of love He showed to the world.

This Christmas, we want to create meaningful opportunities for our church family to partner with God in generosity. We’ve prepared three different ways you can bless others during this season. You’re welcome to do one, two, or all three — we simply ask that you pray, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, and follow His leading.

No matter the amount or the avenue, your generosity makes a real impact and helps show the true meaning of Christmas!

Convoy Of Hope

This Christmas, we are partnering with Convoy of Hope, an organisation committed to bringing practical help and the love of Jesus to people in real need. They have provided us with special Christmas baubles that are hanging on the tree in our church foyer. Each bauble carries a unique QR code—simply scan it, follow the prompts, and give directly toward that specific need!

Every bauble represents a real story and a real opportunity to bring hope:

  • Providing a food hamper for a struggling local family.

  • Restoring dignity to a woman rebuilding after domestviolence.

  • Feeding and nurturing a vulnerable child.

  • Or meeting the greatest, most urgent need right now.

We want to encourage you to grab a bauble—or even a couple—and prayerfully give towards the need it represents. Your generosity this Christmas makes a tangible difference and helps extend the heart of Jesus to someone who needs it.

The Pantry

The Pantry is a House Church initiative that provides cooked meals to people in crisis and essential pantry goods to anyone in need. This Christmas, we’re putting a special focus on blessing the homeless — especially those in the Nerang and Carrara areas right near our church.

In the Main Auditorium, near the front of the stage, you’ll find brown paper bags ready to take home. Each bag includes a list of practical, helpful items. Simply:

  1. Take a bag.

  2. Purchase some of the items on the list.

  3. Fill the bag (just don’t make it too heavy—we don’t want the handles breaking!).

  4. Bring it back the following Sunday and place it where you found it.

This simple act of kindness helps us put love into action and shows our community the heart of Jesus this Christmas.

Homebase.

We also wanted to provide an opportunity to give directly toward Homebase — our local church. This Christmas, we’re believing to refresh our foyer space with some new furniture, starting with chairs.

Each chair costs $50, and it’s a simple, tangible way to be generous — something you’ll see and benefit from every week as you walk into church. Every chair becomes a place for someone to sit…
Maybe it’s a new person visiting for the first time.
Maybe it’s a family hearing more about Jesus.
Maybe it’s someone enjoying a coffee and a yarn with a friend.
Would you consider giving toward a chair to bless someone this Christmas?

Any amount is welcome as we work toward upgrading our furniture and creating warm, welcoming spaces
for our church family and guests.

If you’d like to contribute, simply follow the prompt below and write “Homebase” in the reference
when you give.
