HCC MEMBERSHIP

Membership at HCC is a voluntary acknowledgement and commitment to align with the mission, values, culture, and the vision of House Christian Church.

Membership also enables the leadership of HCC to know, equip, and shepherd our church family well.

At its core, membership is about planting yourself in the local church - firmly saying “yes” to belonging - and committing to build the Kingdom of God together.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Am I Saying Yes To?
At House, we keep membership really simple: it’s a voluntary acknowledgement and commitment to align with our values, culture, and vision. It’s a clear ‘yes’ to belonging—embracing HCC as your local church, getting behind the mission, and growing in faith together.

While connect forms are a great first step, membership is a deeper, intentional decision to plant yourself here, be part of the family, and build the Kingdom of God together.

How Do I Become a Member?

Step 1 is to complete our Online Membership Interest Form. Once submitted, someone from our Eldership or Leadership Team will connect with you - to get to know you and share more about HCC’s mission and values.

If it’s the right fit, you’ll then complete our HCC Membership Form. Every couple of months, we take time in a Sunday service to celebrate, pray, and officially welcome new members into the House family.

What Happens After I Become a Member?
After meeting with a member of our Eldership or Leadership Team, completing the Membership Form, and being prayed over at a Sunday service, you’re officially a member of HCC.

From there, we encourage you to get involved—serve, join a community group, and engage in ministries that match your heart and gifting. Members also receive regular email updates with events, ministry opportunities, and prayer requests to help you stay connected, encouraged, and equipped to grow in your faith.

Is There a Membership Fee or Other Obligations?
There is no fee to become a member of House Christian Church. However, membership carries the responsibility to live according to our church’s values and culture.

Can I Lose My Membership?
Yes, membership can be revoked by the leadership of House Christian Church. That said, our heart is always to lead with open, honest, and gracious communication. If an issue ever arises, a conversation with a member of our Eldership Team will always take place first.

Membership is a mutual commitment. Just as you are choosing greater alignment with House, HCC is also committing to walk with and care for you. If at any point a person’s life or belief system no longer aligns with our values, membership may no longer be the right fit. Our desire is always to ensure this commitment remains healthy, life-giving, and appropriate for both the individual and the church.

Once a Member, Always a Member?
Not necessarily. If you choose to no longer attend or be part of House Christian Church, simply let us know, and we will respectfully remove you from the membership database.
